I completed my undergraduate studies in Ceramics at Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts and earned my master’s degree from the same university’s Institute of Fine Arts. During my graduate studies, my thesis examined synesthesia as an artistic object, shaping the foundations of my practice through concepts of perception, sensory experience, and embodied awareness.

My work primarily engages with natural, raw clay bodies, deliberately minimizing the use of glaze. I create delicate, paper-like, and fragile forms that function as both physical and emotional sites of expression. Clay, in my practice, is not merely a material but a carrier of emotion, memory, and transformation. Combining ceramics with other materials allows me to expand and question the expressive potential of the medium.

Human emotion and lived experience form the starting point of my work. Memories, trauma, illness, and social issues become visible through form, texture, and fragility. My works offer a quiet yet intense narrative that exists between individual experience and collective memory.

Over the years, I have participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. My works have been presented in galleries, museums, and public spaces, each reflecting a distinctive synthesis of craftsmanship, narrative, and innovative approaches.
Currently based in London, I continue my artistic practice while viewing education and knowledge-sharing as integral to my work. Through workshops and teaching, I aim to inspire emerging artists and contribute to the sustainable growth of ceramic art for future generations.
